EveryPay is looking for a Senior AML Officer

Key Responsibilities:
As Senior AML Officer, you will:

• Oversee complex AML investigations, transaction monitoring activities and suspicious activity escalations.
• Oversee the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) process and conduct periodic and ad-hoc reviews to ensure compliance with AML requirements
• Engage in the sanction screening process through FinTech Solutions Inc's screening system
• Prepare and review Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and responses to requests from competent authorities and regulatory bodies
• Support the continuous improvement of AML/CTF monitoring systems, controls, customer risk assessment methodologies and internal processes
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, KYC, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure AML requirements are effectively embedded across the customer lifecycle
• Support the Head of AML in regulatory reporting, audits, risk assessments and other AML-related initiatives
• Provide guidance and support to AML team members

What you need to succeed:

• BSc preferably in Law, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, Audit, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in regulatory compliance, AML, risk, or audit functions, with at least 2 years in a senior position. Experience in payments and fintech companies which is not limited to the Greek market only
• In-depth knowledge of financial services regulations, particularly payment regulations & supervision (e.g. PSD2, EBA guidelines, acquiring & issuing business, AML directives)
• Hands-on experience in AML/CTF operations and a thorough understanding of AML standards and AML/CTF system functionalities
• Knowledge of anti-fraud systems and sanction screening systems (e.g., Refinitiv) is a strong plus
• Knowledge of data analytics and project management tools (e.g., Power BI, ACL, Salesforce, ASANA), as well as relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CAMS, CFE), will be considered an asset.
• High ethical standards, accountability and ability to take ownership of complex AML matters.
• Good knowledge of payment products and services
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken)
