We are looking for a Memory Care Server to join our amazing team!
The Memory Care Server will be responsible for creating a safe, welcoming, and person-centered dining experience for residents living with memory loss. Sets and clears tables, supports residents in making meal selections, serves food and beverages accurately and promptly, and uses patience, reassurance, and appropriate cueing to promote comfort, dignity, independence, and enjoyment at every meal.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, person-centered service and promote a calm, welcoming dining atmosphere appropriate for residents living with memory loss.
- Learn and honor each resident’s routines, preferences, abilities, and dining needs while treating every resident with dignity and respect.
- Use clear, simple communication, visual prompts, gentle cueing, and positive redirection to help residents navigate the dining experience and make meal selections.
