Manager, Strategic Finance
About the Team:
CoreWeave runs the infrastructure behind some of the world's most advanced AI. The Strategic Finance team is built with a diverse mix of talent coming from top-tier financial institutions, global technology companies, and some of the fastest-growing startups in AI and software. Our team is a small, but mighty Strategic Finance team that works directly with the CFO. Your work will shape how leadership, the Board, and the public markets understand the company, and you will have the opportunity to own critical aspects of our overall forecasting and planning workstreams.
Our team is designed to operate under uncertainty. Revenue is contracted years out. Capex is measured in billions. Growth depends on how well we plan capacity, capital, and customers together. There isn't a playbook for this business yet, and this role helps write it.
Key Responsibilities:
- The forecast. Own key parts of our three-statement model and cash forecast. Turn contracted revenue, capacity deployment, and capex plans into an outlook leadership can make decisions on.
- Planning. Drive planning that leads up to our public earnings cycles. Pressure-test assumptions and explain clearly what changed and why.
- KPIs and unit economics. Define and track the metrics that show how the business is actually performing, from contract economics to margins to capital efficiency. Present to leadership critical topics on what's working and what isn't.
- Executive and Board materials. Build the monthly, quarterly, and annual materials the executive team and Board rely on.
- Earnings and capital markets. Support earnings preparation, guidance, and investor dialogue. Contribute analysis to financing and rating agency work alongside the CFO.
- Cross-functional partnership. Work with Accounting, Business Finance, Treasury, and operating teams to keep numbers consistent from contract to cash to reported results.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years in finance, ideally most recently in central or corporate FP&A at a large-scale technology company or fast-paced startup
- Deep modeling skill: three-statement models, cash forecasting, and scenario analysis you can build and defend
- Sound judgment about what matters. You can take a messy set of inputs and produce a clear recommendation
- Clear writing and presenting for senior audiences, including executives and the Board
- Comfort with ambiguity and pace. You build structure where none exists and own critical processes
- Working knowledge of accounting that affects the forecast (revenue recognition, leases, capex)
