Event Operations Specialist - Seoul

About the Role:

We are looking for an Onsite Operations Specialist to support the rollout and day-to-day operation of one of Fever’s largest sports partnerships in South Korea.

Fever will be responsible for key operational areas across multiple first-division football clubs, including ticketing, access control and box office operations.

The role will oversee operations across multiple venues and will work closely with Venue Managers and experienced freelance operational leads assigned to each stadium.

Your responsibility will be to ensure that each venue is properly prepared, that the onsite teams are operating according to Fever standards, and that operational issues are identified and resolved quickly.

This is a hands-on coordination and problem-solving role. You will not necessarily be the person performing every operational task yourself. Instead, you will act as the operational reference for the people running each venue, stepping in whenever they need support or when something falls outside the standard process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Venue Operations Coordination:

• Coordinate Fever operations across multiple football stadiums and matchdays.
• Ensure each venue is operationally ready before doors open, including ticketing, access control, box office, devices, connectivity, staffing and processes.
• Monitor the overall performance of each venue and identify potential issues before they affect attendees or the partner.
• Ensure operational standards are applied consistently across all stadiums.

Supervision of Venue Managers & Freelancers

• Brief and coordinate Venue Managers and experienced freelance operational leads.
• Ensure each Venue Manager has clear responsibilities, priorities and escalation paths.
• Support Venue Managers when they face operational problems they cannot resolve independently.
• Coordinate junior freelancers and temporary staff through the relevant Venue Managers.
• Monitor team performance and intervene when execution or adherence to processes falls below Fever standards.

Problem Solving & Escalation Management

• Act as the first operational escalation point for venue teams.
• Troubleshoot issues related to ticketing, access control, box office and onsite workflows.
• Distinguish between issues that can be solved locally and those requiring support from central Fever teams.
• Ensure escalations are clearly documented and followed through to resolution.
• Remain calm and decisive when unexpected problems occur during live operations.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure Fever checklists, SOPs and tools are followed consistently.
• Identify recurring issues across venues and propose improvements to the central operations team.
• Capture learnings from each matchday and use them to improve future execution.
• Support the rollout of new processes, tools and operational standards across the network.

What we are looking for:

• 3 years of experience in live operations, sports, ticketing, venues, hospitality or another high-volume operational environment.
• Experience coordinating onsite teams or multiple operational stakeholders.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot operational issues independently.
• Comfortable supervising experienced people without necessarily being their formal line manager.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with both operational teams and external partners.
• Comfortable working with operational technology and learning new systems quickly.
• Native Korean and strong professional English.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and travel regularly across South Korea.
