Senior Product Manager, Agency OS
About First Connect
Our mission at First Connect is to keep independent insurance distribution growing in the right direction. Our digital marketplace gives independent agents access to 150+ top US carriers and the optionality necessary to grow their businesses, selling home, auto, commercial, life, and more. We've helped tens of thousands of active agents (with hundreds joining monthly) get consumer-grade software at their fingertips, and we plan to accelerate our growth.
As a quickly growing company focused on helping agents and agencies win, we make sure our users have what they need to do their best work, wherever they work from.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager, Agency OS to lead and grow a new team that owns the surfaces every other team at First Connect builds on: the agency and producer structure, compliance, sign-in, my account, and role-based access in our admin portal. Think of it as the operating system for insurance agencies.
Your headline initiative is rebuilding the platform to serve bigger agencies, and to grow with every agency as it grows. A disproportionate share of our revenue already comes from our largest agencies, and they operate as full organizations with many producers and roles, while today's platform is optimized for an individual agent. You will drive the platform strategy and execution for closing that gap: leading the migration to an agency-to-producer structure with richer roles and coordinating the broader cross-team product roadmap, so that a large agency gets a great experience on day one and a growing agency never outgrows us.
That initiative is the headline, not the whole job. Compliance, sign-in, and account management are durable, revenue-bearing domains that every agent touches, and they need product leadership in their own right. You'll partner closely with design, engineering, and our US-based business team, balancing compliance requirements, technical constraints, and long-term platform opportunities.
This is a remote role based in Poland or Israel, with partial working-hours overlap with U.S. Pacific time.
What You'll Do:
Give the domain its first true owner
- Own the product strategy for the domain and turn it into clear requirements, user flows, and decision frameworks
- Consolidate surfaces that today sit with interim owners into a coherent charter and prioritized roadmap
- Partner with your engineering lead to establish the team’s operating rhythm, and earn the trust of leadership and partner teams
Rebuild the platform for bigger agencies
- Own and drive the roadmap for the agency-to-producer migration and the platform capabilities around it
- Design the roles and permissions model that agencies, producers, and our admin portal will run on
- Build the structures that let an agency start small and scale on the platform without ever outgrowing it
- Ship with our largest existing agencies as design partners
Turn compliance into a product
- Consolidate US insurance compliance requirements into automated, auditable lifecycle flows: onboarding, updates, expirations, and terminations
- No prior insurance knowledge needed; we'll teach you the domain, you bring the systems thinking
Lead across teams
- Treat internal teams as customers: users & teams, compliance status, and sign-in are consumed across the company, so you'll define clear contracts and migration paths
- Navigate technical constraints across legacy surfaces, backend systems, and the admin portal to create simple agent and agency experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define success metrics and use data to improve outcomes
- Coordinate the cross-team product roadmap to serve our largest agencies: sequence dependencies, align commitments across teams, and keep leadership informed on progress and trade-offs
What You Bring
- We would love to have you on our team if you have:
- 5+ years in product management with a track record of delivering successful products in a fast-paced environment
- A customer-first mindset: you spend time with users, understand their pain points firsthand, and turn them into simple products they love
- Comfort with ambiguity: you turn unowned problem spaces into roadmaps and shipped product
- Strong communication and relationship-building across engineering, design, and business
- Comfort using data to set priorities and measure impact
- Experience driving large migrations or re-architectures with cross-team dependencies
- Success building products under trust, compliance, or policy constraints
- Based in Poland or Israel with partial overlap with U.S. Pacific time, and fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Platform or infrastructure experience in B2B SaaS: building capabilities other teams depend on, or making a product enterprise-ready (multi-tenant org structures, admin consoles, permissions, audit trails)
- A track record of taking 0 to 1 product ideas through incubation, piloting, and graduation to scaled products
- Experience with identity and access domains: authentication, organization/team structures, roles and permissions, or account management
- Marketplace expertise, especially B2B marketplaces
