Trading Tools Software Engineer

Flow Traders is looking for experienced Software Engineers to join our growing Development team in Amsterdam. As a Software Engineer at Flow Traders, you will build the systems that power our global trading business and help us compete on exchanges around the world. The work is varied and challenging, ranging from systems operating on or near the critical path, such as receiving market data and placing orders, to platforms that process vast amounts of data with exceptional reliability, performance, and traceability.

You will play a key role in advancing our proprietary trading platform by developing efficient, high-performance software, designing innovative solutions, and strengthening existing systems with a focus on low latency and stability. Since markets never stand still, we work in small, business-aligned teams and use agile practices to respond quickly to change.

You will work closely with Trading every day, creating fast feedback loops and a clear view of the value your work delivers. To support collaboration and encourage autonomy, we build and maintain shared libraries, promote code reuse, and continuously refine our approach to application
