RoomSketcher is floor plan and home design software used by estate agents, interior designers and homeowners to create 2D and 3D floor plans. Founded in 2007 near Oslo, privately owned, about 25 people, more than 10 million users in 170 countries. Named G2 Best Real Estate Software 2026. The German site, gallery and help centre already exist; the next step is growing them.

Your role

You own growth in the German-speaking market, measured on new users, new B2B users and new subscriptions. It's a hands-on role with no people management. Our performance marketing manager owns the ad platforms and account structure; you own everything that makes DACH convert.

Your responsibilities

• Local positioning and content: how RoomSketcher speaks to German estate agents, and where we stand against local competitors
• Competitor comparisons done properly — sign up for the alternatives, test them, and write the comparison that wins the search, including in AI answers
• Keep roomsketcher.de accurate and converting, hands-on in our CMS
• Build the German floor plan gallery with original, search-led German text
• Run DACH paid campaigns day to day across Google, Microsoft and Apple Search Ads: ad copy, creative, keywords, negatives, landing pages
• Improve the path from ad click to sign-up through testing and sharper messaging
• Publish German how-to videos with our video specialist
• Localise onboarding emails, newsletters and in-app content into German
• Answer customer reviews in German

Your profile

• Native-level German language, fluent English
• Previous, hands-on performance or online marketing experience— you run Google Ads or Microsoft Ads campaigns yourself.
• Strong German writing and editing, with a feel for search: you can tell good AI-assisted text from mediocre, and you know what people actually type
• You can look at a campaign or page that isn't performing, form a hypothesis and fix it
• You understand software subscriptions: free sign-ups, self-serve funnels, nothing shipped in a box
• Comfortable in a CMS and unfazed by a bit of code. We use WordPress; you can learn it here if you haven't
• Paid search experience is welcome but not essential — what matters is the instinct for why an ad and its landing page do or don't fit together

Nice to have: real estate or proptech, freemium SaaS, experience working with AI tools.
