Loan Operations Specialist
G MASS are seeking a Loan Operations specialist to join the Operations team at a leading global investment manager, taking ownership of loan settlement and servicing across the firm's public-side CLO and credit funds.
This is an interim contract, offering hands-on exposure to broadly syndicated loan activity across both primary and secondary markets. Following a realignment of the firm's operating model, you'll step into a clearly defined remit supporting the public-side funds, working within established information-barrier protocols alongside portfolio management, trading and the wider global operations team. Responsibilities
- Manage primary and secondary loan trades end to end, from trade capture through to close, chasing and resolving fails with agents, counterparties and custodians
- Process trades on ClearPar, including allocations, funding memos and settlement confirmations, ensuring timely and accurate settlement
- Handle agent notices, rollovers, paydowns, rate resets, amendments and restructurings, reconciling positions against agent records
- Reconcile loan positions, cash and accruals with trustees and administrators, investigating and clearing breaks to protect data integrity
