Trade & Transaction Reporting SME / Lead Business Analyst
We’re partnering with a leading global hedge fund to enhance and optimise its European trade and transaction reporting framework.
The firm has mature regulatory reporting processes and infrastructure in place and is seeking an experienced specialist to take ownership of a key reporting obligation while managing the associated change portfolio. The successful candidate will bring deep subject-matter expertise in at least one major European reporting regime - SFTR, EMIR or MiFID II/MiFIR transaction reporting - with the precise scope of responsibility aligned to their experience.
This is a hands-on role combining regulatory interpretation and BAU oversight with business analysis, data investigation, testing and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will act as a principal point of expertise for their assigned obligation, ensuring the continued accuracy, completeness and timeliness of reporting and maintaining clear traceability from the regulation through to operational and technical implementation.
The role is based full-time in the firm’s London office.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of an assigned European trade or transaction reporting obligation, with potential coverage across SFTR, EMIR or MiFID II/MiFIR
- Maintain a detailed understanding of the relevant regulation and its implementation, including reportability and eligibility logic, field-level requirements, data sourcing, enrichment rules and vendo
