POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator / Shop Technician is responsible for warehouse and property organization and upkeep, equipment and material in-flows and out-flows, accurate receiving and verification of materials, mobilization of equipment, and basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance. The role supports efficient company operations through material handling & disposition, inventory coordination, deliveries, and equipment readiness.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and label material deliveries and stage them in appropriate areas
- Maintain the cleanliness of warehouse, facility, and building grounds
- Pick up parts and equipment from suppliers and deliver parts to jobs as necessary
- Mobilize equipment and materials for scheduled jobs
- Ability to drive trucks and trailers to off-site or customer locations
- Accurately confirm materials and equipment against Purchase Orders and Work Orders
- Perform basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment
- General equipment troubleshooting and repairs
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities to facilitate company operation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
- General computer skills and experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to lift 50+ pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift experience
- Experience using shipping/receiving software
- Basic tool and equipment knowledge, use and skills
- General mechanical abilities
- Auto maintenance mechanic experience
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and organization
