Team mission
Marketplace Economics is a new team at GetYourGuide, built to answer the questions that determine how our marketplace grows and how it should be designed. How much revenue does the next euro of paid search actually return? Which marketing channels are genuinely incremental, and which are taking credit for demand we already had? What price should a supplier set, what does a change in commission do to supply, demand, and liquidity, and how should our ranking and supplier incentives be structured in the first place?
We are a senior team working directly with leadership across Marketing, Pricing, and Supply, among others, and the decisions we inform are among the largest the company makes.
