Manager, Events

Girls Who Code (GWC) is seeking a full-time Manager, Events to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of a portfolio of virtual and in-person events that engage students, corporate partners, their volunteers, and other key stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior Events Manager, the Events Manager will serve as a primary relationship owner for corporate partners throughout the event lifecycle and will work closely with the Development, Programs, Marketing & Communications, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality experiences that advance GWC’s mission and organizational goals. This role is responsible for taking events from concept through execution and evaluation, balancing participant experience, partner needs, organizational priorities, and operational feasibility. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and strategic event professional who can independently manage multiple complex projects, build trusted relationships with external partners, make sound decisions in a dynamic environment, and identify opportunities to improve how GWC plans and delivers events.
