Design Engineer, Brand + Product
About Gladia
Gladia builds the audio AI infrastructure behind the new generation of voice products. Our mission is to give every voice platform true conversational intelligence — the audio infrastructure that understands every conversation, turning voice into the world's most valuable data layer.
Our API turns real-world conversational audio into accurate, structured, real-time output — powered by our proprietary Solaria ASR, across 100+ languages, with industry-leading latency.
Hundreds of companies build their voice products on Gladia — from meeting assistants and voice agents to sales-enablement and contact-center platforms. We started in Paris, our growth is developer-led and heavily US-driven (and we're going after the US market hard).
Headquartered in vibrant tech hubs like Paris and New York City, Gladia has been by OVH Groupe — Europe's leading cloud provider — and now operates as a fully autonomous brand and company within the Group.
We're guided by four values:
Honest — Say the real thing, kindly.
Smart — Work smart, ship fast.
Builders — Own your scope, build to last.
Caring — Support people, take pride in the craft.
About the role
Gladia's web experience is evolving toward something richer — more immersive, interactive, and product-grade — and that evolution sits at the center of this role. This is a hybrid craft: you design and you build in code, across both our external surface and our internal products.
That means three things:
Our external product — the marketing site and materials — where we're pushing toward more immersive and interactive experiences.
Our internal platform and brand system — the code-native, AI-powered system that generates all our assets — which you'll own and grow as a product in its own right.
Our products — Compare STT, GladiaFlow, and our developer experience platform — which you'll design and help build.
AI is at the core of our product, and increasingly at the core of how we design: our brand runs on a custom system that's prompt-driven and code-native.
Strong web skills are non-negotiable — our website is hand-coded (Next.js, HTML, CSS) in Cursor and hosted on Vercel, so comfort with Cursor or an equivalent IDE is a prerequisite, alongside real fluency and curiosity around AI tools.
You work with a high degree of autonomy: you anticipate needs, reach out directly to the teams you support without waiting to be briefed, are comfortable managing external partners when needed, and you're used to moving fast.
What you'll do
Lead the evolution of our web experience toward immersive, interactive, product-grade design across our marketing site and materials
Design and build directly in code (Next.js, HTML, CSS), working in an IDE like Cursor and shipping through GitHub, deployed on Vercel
Own and evolve our internal platform and AI-powered brand system — the product that generates all our assets — using prompting as a core creative tool alongside traditional design craft
Design and help build our smaller products: Compare STT, GladiaFlow, and our developer experience platform
Own Gladia's brand identity end-to-end across our website, marketing materials, decks, and video
Move fast and deliver independently across a wide range of formats
What we're looking for
Visual design and design-engineering experience — you design and you code — ideally at a startup, having owned surfaces end-to-end rather than executed against an existing brief
Fluency with front-end (React/Next.js, HTML, CSS), confident enough to review and ship changes via GitHub, working in Cursor or an equivalent IDE
Strong interaction and motion sensibility, with the ability to push a web experience toward richer, more immersive and interactive design
Systems thinking: you've built or operated a design system as a living product, not a static style guide
A real, hands-on relationship with AI tools in your workflow — genuine daily use, not occasional dabbling
The ability to build a distinct visual language for a technical, abstract product, without leaning on stock photography or literal product screenshots
Sharp, fast decision-making, with the ability to clearly explain the reasoning behind your choices
Fluent English
Based in or open to working on-site in Paris, as a big plus
Compensation & benefits

Hybrid work from our Paris office or full-remote in France

€300 workstation adaptation budget
