Job Description
Sets up and operates Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, manual machines, and machining centers to produce high-precision metallic and nonmetallic components. This role supports precision machining, tight-tolerance production, and complex part manufacturing.
Candidates will be evaluated and aligned to the appropriate machine type and class level based on experience.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
- Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece to guide machining processes.
- Selects, aligns, and secures fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials for CNC and manual machining operations.
- Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut, or inputs and edits CNC machine programs as required.
