Firewatch/Holewatch

Employment Type: Full-time, hourly

Compensation: $18-$24 based on experience

Location: North Salt Lake City, UT

Hole watch/fire watch safety attendant monitors and protects other personnel performing work in high-risk environments. Maintains meticulous records of any suspicious or potentially hazardous conditions, activating appropriate alarms and promptly contacting emergency response personnel as necessary.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Great attendance
• Able to lift 40-50lbs min

Work Environment

• Work is performed primarily outdoors on active construction sites
• Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, and precipitation
• Exposure to dust, noise, and industrial hazards
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times
• Tasks could include standing in one area for several hours at a time

Schedule Requirements

• Ability to work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, or swing shifts as needed to meet project deadlines
