A role you can shape
As Veterinary Director, you’ll help set the clinical direction of the practice and create an environment where people feel confident asking questions, discussing cases and building their skills.
You’ll have autonomy to bring ideas forward, with an Area Manager and Regional Clinical Director to help you turn them into action. You’ll also be connected to fellow Veterinary Directors across Greencross, giving you experienced peers to exchange ideas with and work through challenges alongside.
Mentoring will be a rewarding part of the role, particularly for colleagues earlier in their careers. Your guidance can make a lasting difference to how they approach a difficult case, develop their judgement and grow in confidence.

What you’ll bring
We’re looking for an experienced veterinarian with strong medical and/or surgical skills, sound clinical judgement and an interest in helping others succeed.
You’ll enjoy sharing knowledge, supporting less-experienced colleagues and contributing to the way a team works. Previous Veterinary Director experience is welcome, and we’re equally interested in experienced vets ready to step into leadership. Eligibility for veterinary registration in Australia is required.
