Data Analyst
Location: Jersey City, 2 days a week Hybrid
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000
Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support data management, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives across projects and operations. This role will be responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing, and presenting data to support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in developing dashboards, tracking systems, and performance reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, validate, and transform data from multiple sources to support operational and business objectives
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools
- Design and implement user-friendly tracking systems that integrate with Microsoft Office applications
- Monitor data quality and ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting platforms
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for leadership and key stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, reconcile, and analyze business data
- Support database management, data tracking, and reporting initiatives
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and provide actionable recommendations
- Assist with the development of reporting processes and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, database management, or a related role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with visualization tools such as Power BI
- Strong ability to clean, validate, analyze, and interpret complex datasets
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience preparing reports, technical documentation, presentations, and training materials
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting project controls, procurement, contracts, professional services, or task order programs
- Experience developing executive dashboards, KPIs, and recurring operational reports
- Familiarity with SharePoint Lists, Power Apps, Microsoft Forms, and other data collection tools
- Experience working across departments to gather, validate, and reconcile data
- Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership
