Data Operations Engineer

What Impact You'll Have

GRVTY is seeking a Data Operations Engineer to support the reliability, availability, and timely delivery of mission-critical data. In this customer-facing DataOps role, you will coordinate technical operations, guide dataflow owners, and help evolve high-volume data pipelines toward reliable, automated, and proactively monitored services.

What You'll be Owning

• Serve as a technical point of contact with customer stakeholders; translate mission data needs into engineering tasks, workflows, and clear delivery expectations.
• Help lead day-to-day DataOps activities and coordinate flow owners responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving data infrastructure.
• Oversee dataflow deployment and maintenance using standardized engineering templates, core libraries, and reusable processes.
• Monitor pipeline health, data availability, system uptime, and discovery latency across distributed messaging, orchestration, and cloud environments.
• Tune cluster and pipeline performance; diagnose systemic dataflow and platform-stability issues and coordinate technical remediation.
• Implement automated quality gates, schema checks, and validation workflows to protect production data integrity.
