What Impact You'll Have

GRVTY is seeking a Data Scientist to support mission-focused cyber analytics and defensive cyber operations. You will combine cyber threat hunting, operational research, statistical analysis, and stakeholder engagement to help cyber teams extract actionable insights from complex data and put mission tools to effective use.

What You'll be Owning

• Conduct defensive cyber threat hunts on mission Big Data Platforms, evaluate suspicious activity, and translate findings into actionable operational recommendations.
• Apply statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and model building and testing to reveal meaningful patterns in cyber and network data.
• Use data queries, dashboards, and visualizations to support customer analytic requests and present findings in live, interactive briefings.
• Support cyber teams using the Threat Awareness Sharing Capability (TASC) applications and mission data platforms such as JCRS-D.
• Partner with customers to identify cyber-operations requirements, operational gaps, use cases, and opportunities for improved data enrichment.
• Assess existing and proposed cyber data feeds for relevance, usability, completeness, and quality; document findings and deliverables.
