WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Area Manager, you lead and develop a group of stores together with Store Managers to drive business performance, operational excellence, and an outstanding customer experience. Through coaching, collaboration, and strategic follow-up, you ensure consistent execution across your area while contributing to sustainable growth and strong people engagement. 

You will: 

  • Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and store teams to deliver strong commercial and operational results. 
  • Drive sales and profitability through KPI analysis, business follow-up, and execution of commercial priorities. 
  • Ensure stores operate according to H&M standards, policies, routines, and legal requirements. 
  • Recruit, develop, and secure succession for future store leaders across the area. 
  • Collaborate with key functions to translate business strategies into strong local execution. 
  • Lead change initiatives, including store openings, operational rollouts, and new concepts. 
  • Ensure excellent customer experiences through consistent store standards and coaching. 
  • Oversee store maintenance, health & safety, sustainability, and operational efficiency. 
  • Identify business opportunities, risks, and local market trends to support growth. 
  • Act as the key escalation point for operational challenges and performance follow-up. 
  • Who You'll Work With 
  • You will work closely with Store Managers and store teams while partnering with colleagues across Commercial, Visual, Expansion, People, Tech, and Operations functions to drive business performance and aligned execution across your stores. 

 

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will work closely with Store Managers, store teams, and Sales Market partners across Commercial, Visual, Expansion, People, and Operations functions to secure aligned execution and business performance across your assigned stores. 

 

WHO YOU ARE 
We are looking for people with: 

  • 2+ years of experience in multi-store retail management. 
  • Experience leading and developing leaders and high-performing teams. 
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience driving sales and KPI performance. 
  • Experience analyzing business results and translating insights into actions. 
  • Experience managing retail operations, compliance, and store standards. 
  • Experience recruiting, developing, and building succession plans. 
  • Experience leading operational rollouts, change, or business improvement initiatives. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. 
  • Fluency in English.

​ADDITIONAL INFORMATION   
This is a full-time, permanent role. The gross annual salary (RAL) for this position starts from €46’000,00. The final offer will be determined based on professional experience, skills, and specific qualifications. 

This role requires flexibility and availability to support business needs across the entire national territory.
