Food and Beverage Attendant

We are seeking talented Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team in the new waterfront restaurant Hiku.

We are looking for individuals passionate about hospitality and who have experience in restaurants or customer facing roles. Full training will be provided.

This is a full-time role based at Sudima Kaikōura, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week and a pay rate of $24 per hour. We have both fixed term and permanent roles available. Join our team as we prepare for a busy summer season!

Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa

• Provide a warm engaging welcome to all guests
• Work as a team to ensure exceptional service and dining experiences
• Preparation of the restaurant for service by setting and arranging tables
• Seating guests, presenting them with menues and beverage lists, taking orders and delivering exceptional service at all times
• Opening bottles, pouring beverages and serving food
• Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to kitchen
• Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses
• Taking external and internal phone inquiries and delivery of room service
• Settling guest
