Job Description:

Deployment/Installation Technician

   

Individual Contributor

• Works on installing various equipments and systems on customer site
• Prepares for commissioning and site acceptance tests

Key Contributions

• Prepares installation activities
• Defines schedules
• Assess risks
• Schedules and coordinates work to tight deadlines
• Defines installation procedures Ensures that suitable installation processes are implemented properly
• Ensures compliance with health and safety legislation, ensures that installation activities will not affect the safety of anyone
• Adheres to regulation
• Makes improvements to and offering advice about installation procedures
• Supervises and coordinates installation activities
• Supervises physical installation and setting to work
• Manages installation staff
• Manages work issued to subcontractors
• Coordinates the installation team(s) and their interventions, monitors schedule
• Monitors the installation pace, provides trends and data
• Liaises with clients and with Acceptance / Integration / Commissioning team
• Provides feedback to Engineering team regarding the installation plan, the design, the materials
• Use and document daily proper tools aligned to deployment strategy
• Reports progress and current status to internal and external stakeholders
• Produces report about quantity and quality of work
• Produces reports on blocking points during installation
