We’re looking for a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer 2 who’s passionate about building AI-powered, high-velocity systems that transform how our Growth, Sales, and Product teams operate. You’ll own greenfield development across GTM tooling, experimentation infrastructure, and intelligent automation that scales our growth engine.

This is a unique opportunity to define and implement new capabilities, build supporting tooling, and run experiments that shape the future of Homebase's AI-first platform. These are the key ways you’ll contribute and create impact in this role:

• Lead the technical design and implementation of new GTM (Go-to-Market) tools and platforms that drive scale, automation, and growth.

• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Data, Analytics, and Product to translate business needs into well-scoped technical solutions.

• Modernize and contribute to our experimentation infrastructure, helping teams ship faster and learn more efficiently.

• Build AI- and LLM-powered capabilities (agents, workflows, embedded intelligence) that unlock new growth opportunities.

• Elevate engineering quality through system design leadership, architecture reviews, and mentorship.

• Drive technical discovery in ambiguous problem spaces—clarifying requirements, shaping roadmap, and providing direction when paths aren’t obvious.

• Collaborate in-office on key hybrid days to align quickly, accelerate iteration, and co-create breakthrough solutions.

🚀 The Foundation for Success - These are the experiences and strengths that will set you up for success in this role:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ in technical leadership.

• Strong full-stack development skills with Rails + React (or equivalent modern stacks).

• Proven ability to lead ambiguity-heavy, greenfield projects from concept → delivery.

• Experience designing systems that integrate multiple data sources and support complex workflows.

• Hands-on experience building with AI/LLMs (agents, embeddings, orchestrating model calls).

• Strong communicator—able to align technical and non-technical teams around shared outcomes.

• Track record of pragmatic architectural decisions that balance speed with long-term scalability.
