Director of People Operations
About the Role
Planful is at an exciting inflection point. We have a new CEO, ambitious goals, and a meaningful opportunity to continue evolving how we operate, lead, and build a high-performing culture across our global team. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Director of People will partner closely with the CPO and company leaders to translate business priorities into practical people programs that make a measurable difference.
This is a true player-coach role. You will lead and develop a small team, while remaining deeply hands-on in the work. On any given day, you may coach a leader through a team challenge, handle a sensitive employee matter, review people data, improve a process, or personally build and launch a new program. We are looking for someone who can think strategically, make sound decisions, and then roll up their sleeves to deliver.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the Chief People Officer and company leaders to set people priorities and turn them into clear, practical plans.
- Lead, coach, and develop a small People team. Set clear priorities, remove roadblocks, and step directly into the work when needed.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers on organizational effectiveness, performance, talent decisions, workforce planning, and team health.
