Job Description

Join the team building an AI-first company.

Hostinger serves more than 5.5 million clients across 150 countries, but we're still excited about what we're creating next.

AI is changing how we build products, support customers, work together, and solve problems. It helps us move faster, spend less time on repetitive work, and focus on bigger ideas.

If you want your work to influence both what we build and how we build it, we'd like to meet you.

Our culture: Guided by 10 company principles

Your role at Hostinger

We're a looking for a Linux System Administrator, who will help to build, monitor, maintain, automate, and support our growing global infrastructure, to enable our customers to use the services without a glitch. You will be working besides other System, Software, and Network engineers. You will dig deep, constantly learn, and gain knowledge to become the next top-level talent.

Your day-to-day

  • Watching over one of the largest hosting infrastructures out there — servers, network, DNS, storage — and reacting when something looks off.

  • Triaging alerts: figuring out whether it's hardware, network, or something further up the stack, then fixing it or handing it to the right people.

  • Running remote hardware procedures with data center technicians across the world.

  • Killing the noise — tuning alerts that cry wolf, documenting the ones that keep coming back.

  • Handover with our Infrastructure Monitoring team in Indonesia, so the coverage never has gaps.

What will help you succeed

  • You're comfortable in the Linux command line — you don't need to have it all memorized, but ssh, logs, and basic troubleshooting shouldn't scare you.

  • A home lab, in any form — a Raspberry Pi, an old laptop running Proxmox, a self-hosted Pi-hole, a Minecraft server for your friends. We don't care how tidy it is; we care that you've broken something and fixed it on your own time.

  • A basic grasp of how networking and DNS actually work.

  • You stay calm when things break, and you ask instead of guessing.

  • English good enough for daily written and spoken work with a distributed team.

  • You're okay with shift rotation after probation (9am–6pm / 5pm–2am).

  • You write things down — the next person on shift depends on it.

Meet your team

You'll work most closely with a small group split between Kaunas and Vilnius, from Juniors to Seniors, plus our counterpart team in Indonesia that carries the coverage when we sign off. Day to day we're in touch with data center technicians, systems and network engineers, and the teams that own the services we're watching — so you'll get a rare, wide view of how the whole thing fits together.
