Your role at Hostinger
As part of Hostinger’s Agentic E-commerce Team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality of our e-commerce product. This is not a purely functional Quality Engineer position, we’re looking for a product-oriented QE professional who can see the entire quality assurance ecosystem, from processes and tools to automation strategy. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests, identifying potential issues, and collaborating with other engineers to enhance product functionality and reliability. A strong technical foundation is essential.
Your day-to-day
Act as a key person in setting the quality bar for your product.
Improve, question & challenge delivery process.
Advocate quality and ensure proper monitoring and alerting are in place.
Perform functional and non-functional testing for Hostinger products.
Coach your cross-functional team how to test (engineers and designers).
Create and maintain automation tests for new and existing features.
Identify system malfunctions and register issues.
Execute exploratory sessions inside the team and across the organization.
Collaborate with engineers and ensure bugs are completely fixed.
Design and maintain test architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with CI/CD pipelines.
Mentor and coordinate other QE Engineers, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth within the QE team.
What will help you succeed
4+ years of experience as a software QE engineer in web-based applications.
Experience in Web testing, and basic programming skills (Typescript is a plus).
Having hands-on experience in UI automation (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools).
Experience with API manual testing and automation (Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger, or similar tools).
Experience with Database (MySQL or similar).
Strong knowledge of software QE methodologies, tools, and processes.
Team player mindset, who feels comfortable making important decisions and standing behind them.
Great communication skills in both English and Lithuanian.
Problem-solving abilities, a passion for improvement.
