Senior Delivery Engineer
Hi 👋 I’m Dom Allgood, Client Education Manager at hyperexponential. I joined four years ago as a Curriculum Developer and have spent the last couple of years growing Client Education into the (soon to be) five-person team it is today. Before hx I spent a decade teaching Computing in secondary schools. Outside of work most of my time goes to my two children, and what's left to running and, more recently, mountain biking - where I'm still very much a beginner.
Client Education exists to get our customers to value as quickly as possible, and to keep them there. We run instructor-led training, own hx Academy where all our self-paced learning content lives, own the certification programme, and run some of our customer events. We've also recently taken ownership of Developer+, and that's where this role comes in. Our first customers are working through the programme now, and as it grows it will need to evolve based on what we learn from them.
This isn't a typical Delivery Engineer role, you'll sit in Client Education rather than Delivery Engineering. You'll still work closely with the wider Delivery Engineering team, but your day to day is the customers on Developer+: delivering workshops, running drop-ins, reviewing their code, and shaping the programme around what you learn doing it.
