Sr Manager, FP&A - Discovery R&D
JOB SUMMARY
We are hiring a Senior Manager – Discovery R&D to join the growing Finance Team at Iambic, an innovative biotech company redefining drug discovery and development by applying industry-leading AI and Machine Learning technology. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this role will be responsible for partnering with our Discovery R&D groups on a broad range of planning and forecasting activities for Iambic’s internal pipeline and external partnership programs and providing them with detailed analytics and insights to help inform strategic decision-making. This position will be based in our San Diego Headquarters, with exceptions for experienced candidates to work remotely.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as primary finance business partner for all Discovery groups covering both internal pipeline and external partnership programs, including Computational Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Biology, DMPK, Analytical, Toxicology, and HTE & Lab Operations.
Lead the financial planning process (annual planning cycle, mid-year reforecast and quarterly budget-to-actual meetings) for all Discovery groups.
