Join our Project Management team and help us drive the energy transition!
As Project Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of complex renewable energy projects, coordinating cross-functional teams from development through key milestones to NTP. Acting as the central link between Development, EPC, Finance, Commercial and senior leadership, you will bring structure, transparency and momentum to projects while helping to strengthen our project management standards and ways of working. You will report to the Head of Project Integration & Delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects and cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective coordination of all workstreams, internal functions and external stakeholders from Development through NTP
- Ensure consistent application of ib vogt project management standards, governance requirements and Stage Gate processes, including preparation of gate decisions and maintenance of required project information in Compass
- Oversee the overall project schedule, budget and delivery performance, ensuring key development, commercial and execution milestones, including RTB, FID and NTP, are achieved on time and to the agreed quality standards
- Manage project risks, dependencies, issues and conflicts, driving mitigation actions, troubleshooting and timely escalation of material matters
- Ensure effective day-to-day cross-functional project coordination, including clear ownership, follow-ups, action tracking and alignment between Development, Engineering, EPC, Grid, Commercial and other relevant functions
- Support and initiate project budgeting and Investment Committee approval processes, ensuring alignment between project strategy, budget, risks and delivery requirements
- Coordinate and review key project agreements and commercial interfaces with the relevant functional teams, including EPC, Asset Management and O&M agreements
- Provide regular project updates and reporting to senior management, covering key milestones, risks, budget, decisions and commercial matters
- Coordinate key supporting project processes, including due diligence, project financing and project sales, ensuring timely involvement and alignment of the responsible functional teams
- Drive continuous improvement of project delivery, including project kick-offs, lessons learned and implementation of improved project management standards and ways of working.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline
- Several years of professional experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, project development, project management, EPC, or project finance
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders
- Strong commercial understanding of project finance, EPC contracts, transactions, and investment decisions
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
- Strong project management, planning, coordination, and organisational capabilities
- Solid understanding of project governance, risk management, budgeting, reporting, and Stage Gate processes
- High ownership, accountability, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Able to work independently and coordinate cross-functional, international teams
- Experience working in multicultural environments
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management/reporting tools; Compass is a plus
- PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or similar certification is an advantage
- German C1+ required
- Additional languages (Italian, Spanish, French) are a plus.
