International Controller - Assistant Vice President

About the Role

iCapital is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join the International Corporate Finance team in Lisbon. This role will support the accounting, financial close, tax, treasury, statutory reporting, and audit processes for multiple international entities across EMEA and APAC. The Associate will work closely with internal finance teams, local accounting providers, external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to help ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and timely delivery of key finance priorities.

Responsibilities

International Accounting and Financial Close

• Support the accounting and financial reporting processes for multiple international legal entities across EMEA and APAC.
• Coordinate with local accounting firms and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations.
• Review trial balances and general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packages.
