Architect / Designer

ICON is looking to add an Architect / Building designer to the Design-Build team. As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team, you will design, evaluate, and deliver world-class high-performance buildings using ICON’s technology set. As an ICONIC, you will be a leader and direct contributor to the development of entirely novel approaches to high-performance buildings and you will have the opportunity to work with your team to advance humankind’s ability to provide dignified, affordable, resilient, and sustainable shelter to the world.  This role is can be based at ICON’s Austin, TX campus or ICON's Miami, FL campus and will report to the VP of Building Design.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate in the  architectural design and development of projects from concept through construction, leveraging ICON’s proprietary 3D printing technologies to deliver innovative, high-performance buildings that redefine industry standards.
• Contribute directly to the evolution of ICON’s concrete 3D-printed wall system by optimizing for human comfort, safety, user experience, and sustainability. Ensure architectural integration with structural, MEP, and envelope systems.
