Director of Construction, Military Construction (MILCON)

ICON is seeking a Director of Construction for Military Construction (MILCON) Projects. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of all MILCON construction projects. This includes program performance, from pre-construction strategy through project closeout, across multiple concurrent projects serving a variety of Department of War customers and government agencies nationwide. 

The ideal candidate is a deeply experienced, highly autonomous construction leader who brings command-level judgment, strategic clarity, and hands-on technical leadership to a complex, fast-moving federal construction program. This person does not require direction on tactics or strategy — they set it. They thrive in ambiguous, high-stakes environments, hold themselves and their teams to the highest standards of performance and compliance, and have a demonstrated track record of delivering demanding federal construction programs on time, on budget, and in full conformance with government contract requirements. The ability to operate with a high degree of independence while maintaining full accountability for outcomes is essential.
