Network Engineer

ICON builds Titan, a multi-story robotic construction printer. The print suite runs several networked subsystems, MGM/printer, pump, mixer, e-axis, fine positioner, positioning sensors, that all depend on site networking to talk to each other and to remote engineering teams, some of them international. We're looking for a network engineer to take ownership of that site environment: design it, harden it, and run it like the piece of critical infrastructure it is. 

The person in this role will be the one who architects for reliability from the ground up, sets the standard for how OT and IT traffic coexist safely, and gives engineering teams a network they can trust mid-test.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own the site network: switches, routers, cabling, and uplink, for a mixed environment of industrial controls, robotics telemetry, and standard IT traffic.
• Design and maintain proper segmentation between OT/robotics traffic and general IT traffic, so machine control stays isolated and protected from everyday network activity.
