Assistant Legal Counsel

Job Description
Based: London
Status: Permanent
Reports to: Chief of Legal
Job Purpose: To support the legal function in ensuring the organisation is legally compliant, with particular emphasis on drafting IP, commercial, supplier and philanthropic funding contracts, protection and maintenance of intellectual property rights, exercising strong commercial awareness, built on a foundation of thorough legal knowledge.
The Team
- This position sits within the Legal Team, which consists out of a paralegal, Associate Legal Counsel, Legal Counsel and led by the Chief of Legal,
- This role reports into the Chief of Legal and works closely with several other teams within the organisation.
- This role is expected to provide support to junior members of the Legal Team.
Principal accountabilities:

- Support the team to grow its identity and build strategic partnerships across the organisation through developing clear and efficient processes and SLA’s, supported by legal technology.
- Support work towards Legal Team’s annual strate
