Our client is seeking an experienced, hands-on Building Engineer to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of its corporate facilities. This position will lead maintenance activities, supervise technicians and contractors, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure building systems operate safely and efficiently.
Position: Building Engineer
Pay Rate: $40/hr. - $50/hr.
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise 1–2 maintenance technicians and coordinate third-party contractors and skilled trades.
- Perform and oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections of building systems and equipment.
- Maintain HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation (BAS), and fire/life safety systems.
- Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate emergency repairs, including after-hours support when required.
