Portfolio Analyst (San Francisco)

Role Overview:

Insight Investment is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join its stable value investment team in San Francisco. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to deepen their exposure to portfolio management, investment strategy, and institutional asset management – particularly in the 401k/defined contribution space.

The Portfolio Analyst will support Portfolio Managers in the construction, monitoring, and analysis of stable value (fixed income) portfolios. They will play an active role in strategy allocation, risk mitigation, performance analysis and data management, within a collaborative and intellectually rigorous investment environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support Portfolio Managers in the oversight and monitoring of stable value (fixed income) portfolios
• Assist with portfolio construction, asset allocation analysis and liquidity monitoring
• Help monitor portfolio risk metrics and ensure alignment with client guidelines and objectives
• Track economic data, interest rate trends and credit market developments, summarizing insights for the team
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast interest rate scenarios and evaluate their impact on portfolio valuations, duration and performance
