Job Description
Intelerad is seeking a Technical Implementation Specialist II to lead the delivery of complex technical and workflow implementation services for our Radiology Healthcare IT solutions. Operating with increased autonomy, you will design integration workflows, configure and validate enterprise systems, and guide clients through complex go-lives. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Project Management, Applications, and Workflow teams, and will contribute to continuous improvement by sharing implementation insights across the organization.
InteleShare is Intelerad’s medical image exchange platform, used by healthcare organizations to securely share imaging studies and related clinical information across facilities, providers, and care networks. This role will be part of the Technical Services group for the InteleShare team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead HL7/DICOM integration design, configuration, and deployment for complex client environments, ensuring alignment with clinical goals and Intelerad best practices.
Diagnose and resolve advanced technical and workflow issues across applications, integrations, and infrastructure, both remotely and on-site.
Partner with Project Management to drive system integration and functionality milestones, providing regular status updates to clients and third-party vendors.
Design and deliver structured training programs for end users and administrators, adapting delivery to meet diverse learning needs and clinical settings.
Document and maintain implementation artifacts — including configurations, workflows, and architecture changes — and contribute findings to post-implementation reviews that drive process improvement.
Assist with TS requests which may include custom reports, queries, identifying bugs, complex DICOM/HL7 migrations or workflows.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Medical Imaging Sciences, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in healthcare IT implementation, system integration, or a related technical role.
Demonstrated proficiency with HL7/DICOM standards and experience configuring healthcare system integrations.
Proficiency with Linux command-line interface and experience with SQL databases (e.g., Sybase, PostgreSQL, MS SQL).
Ability to travel as required to support on-site client engagements.
Preferred Qualifications & Special Requirements
In-depth understanding of radiology workflows, including modality, PACS, RIS, and clinical imaging processes.
Experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
Understanding of API architecture and working with data formats such as JSON.
Experience mentoring junior implementation staff or delivering structured clinical training programs.
Exposure to enterprise go-live planning and change management in healthcare environments.
Working knowledge of AWS cloud technologies.
PostgreSQL database and query development.
Familiarity with Python notebook development, Visual Studio Code, GitHub, and AWS SageMaker.
Knowledge of InteleShare and/or Image Exchange platforms.
Travel Requirements
Up to 10% travel may be required, occasionally on short notice.

Additional Information
The base pay for this position ranges from $75,000 100,000/yr CAD within any geographic market in Canada. Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Intelerad is a total compensation company. Pay is dependent on the position offered. Bonus and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, retirement, PTO, and/or other benefits.
