Senior Product Owner – AI & Data

If so, Intermedia’s AI & Data Product Management team is seeking an execution-driven Senior Product Owner to help deliver the next generation of AI-powered capabilities across our UCaaS and CCaaS products.

This is a senior execution role for someone who has outgrown owning a single backlog and is ready to lead delivery across several teams, coordinate releases end to end, and set the standard for how we turn strategy into shipped product.

About the Role
As a Senior Product Owner on the AI & Data team, you will own day-to-day execution across multiple development teams, translating product initiatives into detailed, actionable requirements and ensuring they are delivered with quality and predictability. You will partner closely with product managers, engineering, UX, QA, and project management to keep complex, interdependent work moving, and you will coordinate releases from planning through launch.

Your focus will be on AI-driven experiences, requiring strong analytical skills, exceptional communication, and the ability to break down complex ideas into clear, structured stories. You will work with globally distributed teams, making effective asynchronous communication essential. As a senior member of the team you will also help set execution standards and mentor other product owners.

Responsibilities

•        Serve as the Senior Product Owner across multiple development teams, driving day-to-day execution and removing blockers.

•        Prioritize and maintain clear, structured backlogs aligned with product goals and stakeholder needs.

•        Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.

•        Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional partners to understand business needs and convert them into explicit, detailed requirements.

•        Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and workflow diagrams/UML models for development teams.

•        Work with UI/UX teams to coordinate prototypes and design assets.

•        Contribute to roadmap planning with execution-level insight on capacity, sequencing, feasibility, and risk.

•        Plan and coordinate releases across engineering, QA, operations, and customer-facing teams, communicating progress, risks, and timelines to stakeholders.

•        Lead cross-team efforts spanning multiple Intermedia products or systems, aligning dependencies and expectations.

•        Mentor and support other product owners, helping raise the quality and consistency of execution across the team.

Requirements

•        Comfortable driving delivery of AI features — you don’t need to build models, but you can turn AI capabilities into clear, buildable stories with engineering.

•        4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role in software development, including experience coordinating delivery across multiple teams.

•        Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and deadlines.

•        Strong analytical mindset, capable of processing complex information and producing clear, structured requirements.

•        Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate productive discussions and align diverse teams.

•        Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving ability.

•        Deep experience working with Scrum or other Agile frameworks.

•        Proven release and delivery coordination experience across cross-functional teams.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

•        Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency, with strong asynchronous communication skills.

Would Be a Plus

•        Experience coordinating delivery across multiple Scrum teams at once.

•        Product Ownership or Agile certifications (CSPO, PSPO, SAFe, PMP).

•        Experience owning cross-product release trains or complex, interdependent releases.

•        Technical background or prior hands-on engineering experience.
