Production Engineer
Interwood is looking for a result-oriented and hands-on Production Engineer / Section Incharge to manage the end-to-end operations of an assigned production section. The candidate will be responsible for production planning and execution, manpower management, floor discipline, team training, quality control, compliance, rework reduction, overtime control, cost optimization, process improvement, and system strengthening.
The ideal candidate must have a strong engineering background with practical manufacturing experience and the ability to lead production teams on the floor while ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, productivity improvement, and operational efficiency.
Candidates with FMCG manufacturing background will be preferred, especially those who have managed high-volume production, labour-intensive operations, shift management, quality compliance, and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
- Take complete ownership of the assigned section’s monthly, weekly, and daily production planning and execution.
- Ensure daily production targets are achieved as per approved production plan, quality standards, timelines, and customer delivery requirements.
- Monitor plan vs actual production output and take timely corrective actions against delays, gaps, bottlenecks, or deviation
