The Role

Intrinsic has grown through the quality of its work and the strength of the relationships its practitioners have built over time. That is how advisory firms at this stage almost always grow. But we have reached a point where the opportunity in front of us is larger than what organic relationship development alone can capture, and we are ready to invest in the commercial infrastructure to match. 

This role exists to build and run that infrastructure. The Managing Director of Growth & Market Development is our first dedicated commercial leader, responsible for expanding the firm's pipeline, deepening our relationships with the private equity and investment banking communities, and making the practitioners around them more effective at winning work. 

This is not a traditional sales role. The professionals you will be working alongside are credentialed, client-facing advisors who have built their reputations through exceptional delivery. Your job is to create the conditions in which more of their relationships convert to engagemen
