Iron Mountain is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Service Delivery Technician, Data Centre to join our IMDC / Operations team.
 
As a key member of our critical environment team, you will act as the direct physical support for vital customer infrastructure and data centre operations. You’ll have the opportunity to deliver essential hands-on technical solutions, ensuring our clients' equipment operates seamlessly while building a rewarding career with a trusted global leader. In this role, your daily work directly safeguards the physical technology foundations that keep our customer operations running reliably.
 
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
 
  • Deliver Smart Hands Support: Perform physical hardware and cabling tasks, including racking server and network equipment with on-the-job training provided.
  • Manage Service Requests: Monitor and execute incoming tickets for customer installations, troubleshooting, escorting, and material handling throughout your shift.
  • Maintain Operational Safety: Adhere strictly to process guidelines and safety codes to protect the environment, your teammates, and facility occupants.
  • Coordinate Shipments and Inventory: Handle inbound and outbound dock shipments, perform inventory management, package deliveries, and support recycling efforts.
What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
 
  • Previous experience in a customer service or data center environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to self-manage ticket queues and multitask under minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to following established safety and operational processes.
  • Basic English and German language skills preferred.
