Accounts Payable Analyst I
We are looking for a customer service oriented and proactive individual to ensure that our internal and external customers are supported effectively. Reporting to the AP Team Lead and receiving guidance from US based functional manager, you are expected to manage the day to day responsibilities of the accounting department while working in a remote location from the functional accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in the United States (US); excel skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly and easily. We maintain a flexible schedule policy, but this position will mostly report night shift.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly commission statements, collaborate with sales managers, and respond to queries from external sales representatives
- Month-end closing of the inventory sub-ledger including preparation and posting of journal entries, reserves, accruals, and provisions, as appropriate
- Manage SAP Concur
- Monitor and manage AP Inboxes
- Process invoices for payment
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts as assigned
- Perform ad-hoc research and analysis of information from financial and management reporting systems
- Assist with the design and testing of new functionality, modules, and fixes of the accounting software, as needed</
