We’re looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager to join our Brand & Content team to own how Iterable’s brand strategy comes to life in our marketing content and advertising copy.
The way buyers discover and evaluate customer engagement platforms has changed. Much of the evaluation now happens before a first conversation with sales — through organic search, AI-generated answers, industry communities, video, and peer recommendations. To succeed in that environment we need content with a strong brand voice that demonstrates differentiated expertise.
In this role, you will develop and execute a content strategy that builds trust with our target customers, reinforces Iterable’s authority in the categories most important to our business, and ultimately compels buyers to choose us over the competition. From helpful, engaging blog posts to scroll-stopping advertising copy, you’ll combine your skills as a content strategist with AI tools and systems to drive marketing impact across the business.
We’re looking for someone who is an excellent writer, an exceptional editor, and a proven systems builder — and who understands that quality and scale are not competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Turn high priority topics into compelling, narrative-defining content
You’ll own what Iterable publishes, the point of view it offers, and the standard it’s held to.
Build and manage the content roadmap aligned to SEO/AEO priorities and key business objectives.
Analyze audience personas, SEO/AEO data, and product strategy to produce content that resonates with our target consumers.
Own the process from ideation through publication and distribution.
Partner with our SEO and product teams to ensure content reflects priority topics, product strategy, and market positioning.
Structure content so that search engines and AI assistants can accurately understand, summarize, and cite Iterable’s perspective.
Own Iterable’s brand voice and point of view
You’ll develop a deep understanding of Iterable’s brand voice and differentiation strategy and see that it comes to life in everything we produce.
Ensure all content provides clear, strong, and helpful POVs to help solve challenges for the modern marketer.
Establish and maintain editorial standards for quality, accuracy, and originality, and apply them consistently across all content.
Partner with product marketing and GTM teams to create compelling, on-brand marketing copy that drives impact throughout the funnel
Write the content that sets the bar, including flagship thought leadership and technically complex subject matter.
Scale content production through AI
You’ll develop the systems that allow a small team to produce high-quality content at meaningful volume.
Develop and refine AI-assisted production workflows, structured briefs, and brand voice references that support high-quality output at scale.
Build quality control into the production process so editorial standards hold as volume increases.
Evaluate emerging AI tools and determine which are worth adopting, testing, or setting aside.
Measure and improve the efficiency of the content operation, including time to publish and impact
Support demand generation and pipeline growth
Partner with demand generation to generate compelling, resonant marketing copy for brand marketing campaigns and paid programs.
Monitor the performance of content across the company’s different channels and maintain an ongoing set of metrics and reports.
Connect content visibility to business outcomes, demonstrating how discovery translates into qualified leads and pipeline.
Create clear readouts for marketing leadership, including what changed, why it matters, and what action comes next.
What we’re looking for:
Exceptional written communication skills, supported by strong marketing writing samples.
Proven experience writing technical content or covering other highly complex topics.
Demonstrated use of AI to automate business processes and drive quantifiable impact.
Experience writing marketing copy for paid social and digital display ads.
Deep understanding of AEO/SEO best practices, including how AI assistants retrieve, summarize, and cite information.
Strong analytical ability, with experience using Google Analytics, Semrush, or similar platforms to inform strategy/editorial decisions.
5+ years of marketing experience, at least 2 in a B2B setting.
Ability to seamlessly work with marketers, salespeople, engineers, and other key stakeholders in the company.
Bonus Points
Experience using AirOps to produce marketing content is a significant plus.
Basic industry knowledge of SaaS, APIs, and data analytics.
Experience developing content strategies for social media video platforms, such as YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Experience with Canva, Figma, Photoshop, or other creative tools.
Personal Attributes
The right person is part writer, part editor, part systems builder.
They use AI to work quickly without compromising quality.
They hold a high editorial bar and are comfortable deciding when work does not meet it.
They have a clear, informed point of view on what makes B2B content effective.
They care about measurement, but they don’t hide behind dashboards.
Comfortable with ambiguity and able to build structure, process, and clarity where it doesn’t yet exist.
Collaborative and low-ego, energized by cross-functional work across SEO, product marketing, and demand generation.
Success metrics
Meaningful growth in Iterable’s share of voice across AI-driven search and answer engines for priority categories, products, and buyer questions.
Demonstrated downfunnel impact in at least one area, whether through content that generates significant qualified leads or through campaign copy that measurably improves lead quality.
A more efficient content operation, measured by output, time to publish, and quality consistency.
Clearer, more credible market association between Iterable and the categories where we compete.
