Job Description

The Director, Revenue Growth Management plays a critical role in driving profitable growth for Link Snacks.  This position owns the enterprise-wide RGM strategy including pricing strategy, promotional optimization, mix management, and trade investment governance, ensuring the company delivers smart, sustainable revenue and margin expansion across all retail channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

RGM Strategy

  • Develop and lead Link Snacks enterprise Revenue Growth Management strategy, encompassing pricing, promotion mix, and trade investment.
  • Build channel and customer specific RGM frameworks that maximize revenue, gross margin, and market share while protecting price pack architecture.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align RGM principles into annual planning, customer strategies, and long-term business planning.

Pricing Strategy

  • Own the company’s pricing strategy across channels, including list price, everyday price, pack-price architecture, and price hierarchy by customer.
  • Conduct pricing elasticity studies, competitive price gap analyses, and category level price ladder assessment.
  • Lead pricing actions, ensuring flawless execution and retailer acceptance.
  • Partner with Sales to provide customer-specific pricing guidance and defend value with retailers.

Promotional Optimization

  • Develop promotional strategies and guardrails that balance volume, profit, and ROI across customers and channels.
  • Lead post-event analysis and promotional diagnostics to measure lift, efficiency, and incremental contribution.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce ineffective promotions and reinvest dollars into higher ROI activities.
  • Partner with Sales to build customer promotional calendars that align with brand strategy and financial goals.

Mix Management

  • Drive mix strategy across pack sizes, channels, retailers, and product tiers to optimize gross margin and category performance.
  • Partner with Marketing and Innovation to refine pack price architecture (PPA) ensuring the right portfolio for different shoppers and channels.
  • Provide strategic recommendations around SKU rationalization, value versus premium tiering, and whitespace opportunities.

Trade Investment Governance

  • Oversee trade spend strategy, allocation, and governance to ensure efficient and consistent investment decisions across the organization.
  • Build and maintain trade investment dashboards and guardrails to maximize ROI and prevent leakage.
  • Partner with Finance to develop annual trade budgets, track performance, and ensure compliance with investment rules.
  • Support the implementation or optimization of TPM systems.
  • Work closely with Sales Leadership to ensure pricing, promotion, and investment strategies translate into customer-ready plans.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to align brand positioning, innovation plans, and communication strategies with RGM guardrails.
  • Partner with Category Management to leverage shopper insights, promotional performance data, and retailer trends.
  • Align with Supply Chain and Demand Planning on volume impacts, forecast alignment, and inventory implications of RGM decisions.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead and develop a high-performing RGM team, including pricing analysts, promotional optimization specialists, and trade strategy managers.
  • Build RGM capability across the commercial organization through education, tools, and frameworks.
  • Foster a culture of analytical rigor, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Revenue Growth Management, Pricing Strategy, Sales Finance, Category Management, or Commercial Strategy within CPG.
  • Demonstrated expertise in promotional optimization, pricing strategy, mix management, and trade investment.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using syndicated data (Nielsen/IRI/Circana), POS data, and financial modeling tools.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent communication and business storytelling skills.
  • MBA or advanced agree preferred.
  • Experience with TPM/TPO systems and trade governance infrastructure preferred.
  • Deep understanding of CPG pricing, promotions, and mix levers.
  • Ability to synthesize multiple data sources and uncover insights that shape strategy.
  • Ability to align Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain around RGM decisions.
  • Strong financial, P&L, customer strategy, and pricing sensitivity.
  • Builds capability, develops talent, and leads through complexity.
  • Converts strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

Additional Information

The salary range for this role is $190,000 - $215,000 (Annually).  Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
