Sales Operations Manager
Are you the person who asks "what's the real problem?" before building the report?
Do you get more satisfaction from a process that runs cleanly every week than from a deck presented to leadership?
Then Jobber might be the place for you! We’re looking for a Sales Operations Manager to be part of our Sales Enablement department.
Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want!
Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.
The team:
Jobber’s mission is to make sure every blue collar business has the technology and knowledge to win, and the Sales team you support is how those businesses first find us.
As a Sales Operations Manager at Jobber, you'll go deep in the sales channel, developing the context, credibility, and relationships with Sales leaders that only come from sustained ownership. You'll sit at the table where operational decisions are made, bring a clear point of view, and influence how the channel runs. You’ll provide data-driven recommendations, you'll lead the rollout, drive adoption, and be measured on the real improvement you deliver to how our Sales team performs.
The role:
Jobber’s Sales Operations team partners with our Sales organization to improve how our sales channels operate. As a Sales Operations Manager, you’ll act as the Sales Operations partner for an assigned channel or priority area of focus, helping identify operational friction and turn business problems into practical solutions. This is an individual contributor role.
You’ll independently lead channel-level projects from discovery through rollout and measurement. This includes defining requirements, building project plans and workback schedules, coordinating cross-functional execution, keeping stakeholders aligned, and measuring impact.
You will own delivery and communication within your scope, make project-level decisions, and bring well-supported data-driven recommendations and trade-offs to Sales leaders. You will escalate cross-channel impacts and decisions that require broader leadership alignment.
The Sales Operations Manager will:
Sales Partnership & Thought Leadership
Act as the primary Sales Operations partner for an assigned sales channel or priority area.
Serve as a trusted thought partner to channel leaders, building a deep understanding of the channel's goals and performance drivers, and proactively raising operational opportunities they haven't yet considered.
Proactively partner with Sales leaders and frontline teams to analyse issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Make strategic recommendations where the channel can optimize and contribute to discussions on how priorities are sequenced over the coming quarters.
Provide ongoing support while looking for longer-term solutions that reduce friction and improve consistency.
Problem Diagnosis & Recommendation
Investigate operational problems by gathering stakeholder input, reviewing current workflows, and analyzing available data.
Separate immediate requests from the underlying problem that needs to be solved, and structure ambiguous problems into testable hypotheses.
Build the fact base: pull and analyze operational and performance data, size the impact, and translate findings into clear recommendations with the trade-offs made explicit.
Document current-state processes, requirements, owners, handoffs, dependencies, and common failure points.
Design practical improvements that make processes clearer, more efficient, and more scalable.
Project & Workstream Delivery
Lead assigned channel projects from discovery and scoping through execution, rollout, and post-launch measurement.
Translate business problems into clear requirements, project plans, milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, and success measures.
Maintain structured delivery plans that give stakeholders clarity on timing, responsibilities, and decisions.
Keep projects moving by following up on actions, resolving blockers, and escalating risks when needed.
Develop rollout plans that include communication, documentation, training, readiness, and post-launch support, anticipating where resistance may arise and what support will be needed to make the change stick.

Escalate issues with clear context, business impact, and recommended next steps.
Partner with RevTech, Enablement, Sales Planning, Finance, Analytics, and Sales stakeholders on assigned work.
Bring partner teams together around a shared channel need, providing the context and requirements they need to deliver a coordinated solution.
Respect functional ownership while maintaining clarity across decisions, responsibilities, and handoffs.
Identify broader impacts or trade-offs that require cross-channel or leadership alignment.
Partner with Enablement and Sales leaders to prepare impacted teams for new processes, tools, or expectations.
Define success measures and monitor adoption, process health, stakeholder feedback, and business impact.
Connect project results to channel outcomes such as productivity, conversion, pipeline quality, sales cycle, or forecast accuracy, and use results and feedback to refine improvements after launch.
To be successful, you should have:
3–5 years experience, ideally in management consulting or tech, strategy, or a business/revenue operations role, with experience leading client- or stakeholder-facing workstreams from problem definition through recommendation.
Structured problem-solving: the ability to break an ambiguous business problem into hypotheses, test them with data and stakeholder interviews, and land on a clear recommendation.
Executive-ready communication: crisp written recommendations, decision memos, and the ability to facilitate leadership discussions.
Strong project ownership and follow-through, with the ability to lead work from discovery through delivery and measurement.
Comfort acting as a trusted advisor to leaders, bringing a clear point of view and being sought out for perspective on operational decisions.
Strong operational judgment, including knowing when to make decisions independently and when to escalate.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, organization, and clear follow-through.
Ability to identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to channel workflows and build repeatable, lightweight solutions that reduce recurring operational effort.
Nice to Have:
Experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a go-to-market or strategic operations role.
Experience supporting various sales channels such as Inbound, Outbound, Account Management, or Channel Partnerships.
Familiarity with Salesforce and other sales technology platforms.
Experience supporting system implementations, process redesigns, user acceptance testing, or operational rollouts.
Exposure to sales planning, forecasting, routing, pipeline management, compensation, or performance reporting.
