Payroll & Accounts Payable Coordinator

As part of the Finance team at JOEY Restaurant Group, the Payroll & Accounts Payable Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our Payroll and Accounts Payable (AP) functions. This role oversees full-cycle Canadian payroll for approximately 900 employees, along with invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, and vendor management, supporting the financial operations of our restaurants and Corporate Office. 

You’ll partner with internal teams, employees, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll and payments, maintain strong financial controls, and continuously improve processes. You bring strong attention to detail, accountability, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to take ownership and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

This role moves beyond task execution into end-to-end process ownership, issue resolution, reconciliation, compliance awareness, and proactive administration, all within a collaborative, high-performing Finance team where accuracy, service, and continuous improvement are valued. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Vancouver, BC. 

Annual Compensation Range  

$55,000 – $65,000 / year  
The salary range is dependent on skill and work experience.
