Department Manager - Security Architecture

You will balance exceptional delivery for customers on what matters, engaging teams and colleagues, with the needs of the business. We are looking for an expert to be the first layer of management of people or projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute security specific guidance and verification to target solution architecture for new/ongoing projects as part of the Enterprise Architect function, ensuring security control objectives in the control framework is applied to the new/ongoing projects
• Lead the engagement and assessment of solutions with security vendors for solution architecture and design activities.
• Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
• Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements
• Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in security architecture design and implementation
• Advanced IT security certifications may be advantageous.
• A strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer operating and software programs.
