What you will be doing:

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect supply chain assets, including warehouses, distribution centers, and transportation networks.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities within the supply chain, and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Establish and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies, government authorities, and industry partners to stay informed about security threats and trends, and collaborate on security initiatives.
• Develop and implement security training programs for supply chain personnel, including security awareness training, emergency response training, and incident management training.
• Lead investigations into security incidents, breaches, and thefts within the supply chain, coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and law enforcement agencies as needed.
• Implement access control measures, surveillance systems, and security technologies to monitor and protect supply chain facilities and assets.
• Manage security personnel, including security guards, officers, and contractors, ensuring they are properly trained, equipped, and deployed to meet security objectives.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of supply chain facilities and operations to ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulations.
• Develop and maintain emergency response and crisis management plans for supply chain facilities, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective response and recovery.
• Monitor and analyze security metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present regular reports and updates on supply chain security to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Risk Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
•  years of experience in security management, with a focus on supply chain security or logistics security.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to supply chain security.
• Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and develop a team of security professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to analyze security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Experience in conducting security assessments, risk assessments, and vulnerability analyses.
• Knowledge of security technologies and systems, including access control systems, surveillance cameras, and intrusion detection systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support operational needs.
