⏰ Monday to Friday | 7:30am–9:00am | 7.5 hours per week

We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Breakfast Club Playworker to join our team at Wilson Primary School.
You'll help create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable start to the school day, supporting children as they arrive, enjoy breakfast and take part in fun activities before school begins.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for family-friendly, term-time working hours with no weekend work.
🕒 Working Hours
Monday to Friday
🌅 7:30am – 9:00am
7.5 hours per week, term time only
There may also be opportunities to increase your hours by working at our holiday clubs during school holidays, if available.
🎨 About the Role
As a Breakfast Club Playworker, you'll help deliver high-quality childcare in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.
You'll support children to enjoy their morning through a mixture of breakfast, play and engaging activities, helping them feel happy and ready for the school day ahead.
⭐ Key Responsibilities
- Support children during breakfast and morning activities
- Deliver fun and engaging activities including games, arts & crafts, sports and structured play
- Create a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment
- Encourage positive behaviour and active participation
- Support children's wellbeing and development
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety and company procedures
- Complete sign-in and sign-out procedures
- Prepare and provide refreshments while maintaining high hygiene standards
- Set up and pack away play areas and equipment
- Complete relevant accident and incident documentation
- Communicate professionally with children, parents, colleagues and school staff
- Carry out basic equipment and safety checks
- Support first aid and health & safety procedures where required
