Hours: 25 hours per week (split shifts)
Operational Hours: Monday - Friday 07:45 - 08:45 & 15:00 - 18:00
Pay: Up to £13.60 per hour

At Junior Adventures Group (JAG), we’re looking for passionate people to lead our Breakfast & After School Clubs (and Holiday Clubs too!) where play, creativity, and connection come together.
As a Deputy Club Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of one of our children’s activity clubs, helping to create safe, exciting, and enriching experiences for children aged 4–11. You’ll support the Club Manager and wider team, build strong relationships with schools and families, and help deliver a mix of sports, arts, games, and structured play every single day!
This could be a great next step into management.
This role is split shift, meaning you’ll work mornings and afternoons, with a break in between (great for studying, hobbies, family, or even a nap!). You’ll also have the opportunity to increase your hours during Holiday Club seasons and Lunchtime Cover.
What you’ll do day-to-day:
- Welcome children each morning and afternoon with fun and energy, helping to create a positive start to every session.
- Support and lead exciting activities like arts & crafts, team challenges, drama, multi-sports, and structured play.
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging sessions that are age-appropriate, inclusive, and (most importantly) fun!
- Support, encourage, and motivate your team to deliver brilliant care and play experiences, stepping up to support the Club Manager when needed.
- Communicate confidently with parents, your team, the host school, and central operations, helping to build strong and positive relationships.
- Support the Club Manager in ensuring health & safety, safeguarding, and company procedures are followed with confidence and care.

What we’re looking for:
You may have worked as a Sports Coach, Teaching Assistant (TA), Playworker, Drama/Dance Instructor, Nursery Manager, or even as a parent wanting a new career in childcare.
